Abstract
There are few investigations on how adopted individuals face marriedlife and parenthood. This article analyses how adopted women live family interpersonal relationships. For this purpose, the dynamic of their nuclear family and the functional role of women as daughters, partners and mothers was studied. A semi-structured interview was carried out and the FAM III test was given to 16 adopted mothers and 13 non-adopted mothers. The results point tothe fact that adopted individuals live motherhood and family relationships inthe same way as non-adopted individuals. This result verifies the hypothesis that they have accepted the family patterns of their adoptive family.
