Abstract
[spa] A partir de las nuevas investigaciones y excavaciones que han surgido en los últimos
años en la zona que abarcaría desde el Bajo Ebro al norte de Castellón, en este trabajo,
se pretendería comprender las relaciones que se desarrollaron en estas áreas entre las
sociedades fenicias e indígenas durante Primera Edad del Hierro. Para ello, se han
seleccionado una serie yacimientos con una cronología que abarcaría desde el VII al VI
a.C., y mediante las perspectivas teóricas difusionistas y endogenistas, se pretenderá
realizar una discusión sobre la aculturación fenicia en este contexto a partir del estudio
del registro arqueológico y los restos materiales hallados de los yacimientos escogidos.
[eng] Building on the new investigations and the findings in archeological excavations within the last several years in the territory situated between the Bajo Ebro and the North of Castellón, this work seeks to understand the relations established in this area between the Phoenician and indigenous societies of the First Iron Age. In order to do so, a series of archeological digs have been selected, all spanning a chronology that comprises the period between the 7 th and 6 th centuries BC. Using diffusionism and endogesim as the main theoretical approaches, this thesis will seek to develop a solid discourse around processes of Phoenician acculturation in this area, via the study of the archeological record and the material remains found in the selected sites.
