Abstract
[cat] El present treball vol entendre i determinar si al neolític antic cardial de la
península Ibèrica existeix algun patró comú en les pràctiques funeràries i en la cultura
material que hi ha associada, i avaluar fins a quint punt les restes materials es poden
incloure dins de l’aixovar funerari. En ell, s’aborden els principals aspectes relacionats
amb l’estudi de les restes antropològiques i materials, com la ubicació, l’espai, el
nombre, l’edat i el sexe dels individus; la ceràmica, els elements ornamentals, la
indústria lítica i òssia, les restes faunístiques, l’estat de conservació de les restes i la
posició d’aquestes, respecte del difunt. Tot i les problemàtiques existents, com la
informació escassa i els fenòmens postdeposicionals, es pot determinar que existeixen
semblances entre els diferents jaciments, encara que no hi hagi cap patró clar que els
aglutini tots. Així doncs, la disposició de les inhumacions a les zones menys habitables
de les cavitats, la col·locació dels individus en una posició forçada, les culleres de
suport ossi i les petxines del gènere Cardium ens permeten acostar-nos una mica més a
la realitat del neolític antic cardial.
[eng] The present work aims to understand and determine whether the Cardial Neolithic of the Iberian Peninsula has any common pattern in funeral practices and in the material culture that has been associated with it, and to evaluate if the remaining materials can be included in the grave goods. The main aspects related to the study of the anthropological and material remains are analyzed, such as the location, the space, the name, the age and the sex of the individuals; the ceramics, the ornamental elements, the lithic and bone industry, the fauna, the state of conservation of the remains and the position of these respect to the deceased. Even the existing problems, such the few information and the post-deposition phenomena, we could determinate that there are similarities between the different archaeological sites, although it’s not clear that they include all of them. Therefore, the disposition of the burials to the less habitable zones of the cavities, the location of the individuals in a forced position, the bone spoons and the Cardium shells allow us to bring closer the reality of the Cardial Neolithic.
