Clío frente al minotauro: hermenéuticas historiográficas de la ideología fascista

Abstract

[spa] En este trabajo abordaremos el estudio de las principales teorías historiográficas producidas sobre la dimensión subjetiva del fascismo, de aquellas que lo interpretan fundamentalmente como una ideología, un sistema de creencias y/o de pensamiento; una cultura, un conjunto de ritos y símbolos, y una cosmovisión, una concepción holística de la naturaleza, la política y el ser humano. Iniciaremos desde las primigenias interpretaciones del fascismo teorizadas por la historiografía marxista y la historiografía liberal, y continuaremos con el giro cultural que se produjo en el campo de los estudios del fascismo en los años ochenta, para posteriormente reseñar las diferentes disputas e intentos de síntesis entre ambas metodologías de abordaje del fenómeno fascista. La vasta inmensidad y abigarrada complejidad del tema ha llevado al surgimiento de una miríada de disputas teóricas sobre la naturaleza ideológica del fascismo, y es sobre estas quastione disputatae que basaremos nuestro trabajo, refiriendo la opinión de cada a autor respecto a cada una de ellas.

[eng] In this paper we will deal with the study of the main historiographical theories produced on the subjective dimension of fascism, of those that interpret it fundamentally as an ideology, a system of beliefs and/or thoughts; a culture, a set of rites and symbols, and a world view, a holistic conception of nature, politics and the human being. We will commence this study from the original interpretations of fascism theorized by Marxist and liberal historiography, then we will continue with the cultural turn that occurred in the field of studies of fascism in the 1980s, to finally review the different disputes and attempts of synthesis between both approaches on the fascist phenomenon. The vast immensity and motley complexity of the subject has led to the emergence of a myriad of theoretical disputes about the ideological nature of fascism, and it is on these quastione disputate that we will base our study, referring each author’s opinion on each of them.
