| dc.description.abstract | This practical lesson is divided in two parts: during the first part we will see two common species growth models (exponential growth and logistic growth) and learn how determine the behavior for the populations, as well as what is a nullcline, and how to solve the differential equations both numerically, graphically and analytically. In the second part, we will see two species interaction models (i.e. the competition for the resources between two species without depredation and the predator/prey model). Here we will calculate the stable solutions of these models, the two-dimensional nullclines, and implement the learned equations to solve several mathematical problems. | ca |
