[cat] Aquest treball té l’objectiu d’apuntar els mètodes d’aplanat més adequats per a diferents tipus de paper habitualment problemàtics a l’hora d’humectar i aplanar.
L’aplanat del paper és un procés de conservació-restauració aplicat sistemàticament en la conservació de paper.
Durant el treball es fa una mirada més profunda als fenòmens fisicoquímics pels que l’aplanat té efecte
i els seus desavantatges, sovint ignorats. Alhora, s’ha elaborat una compilació dels diferents tipus d’assecat i aplanat i les seves múltiples variacions.
En la part pràctica final es posen a prova els diversos mètodes d’humectació, assecat i aplanat recercats per comparar els seus resultats, i s’indica els mètodes més aptes per un seguit de papers escollits.
[eng] The aim of this project is to state which flattening methods are the most appropriate for a handful of usually problematic types of paper. Paper flattening is a conservation process applied almost systematically in paper restoration. In this paper, we will take a deeper look into the physicochemical phenomena for which flattening is effective and also its downsides, which are often ignored. At the same time, the different methods of drying and flattening and its multiple variations have been compiled. In the final, practical section of the paper, the different humectation, drying and flattening methods are put to the test, and those which turn out most suitable for the flattening of a group of chosen types of paper are pointed out.
