Abstract

[ca] Retornar a la mar neix des de l’amor i el respecte més profund que sento per la naturalesa. A través de dues peces, Abraça’m i Respirar, de joieria en vidre, fràgils i delicades, però al mateix temps, resistents i duradores, es posa en valor la biodiversitat i la seva bellesa. Aquest projecte està basat en l’experimentació i la tecnificació del procés del flamework i fuming en vidre en el món de la joieria artística contemporània i la recerca i exploració sobre la importància i el valor mediambiental dels ecosistemes del mar Mediterrani, i més concretament de dues de les seves espècies endèmiques, el corall vermell i la posidònia oceànica, amb la intenció de crear una consciència i sensibilitat entorn això. El vidre com a presència i absència, que imposa un silenci per fer veure la forma del que ja no hi és.

[eng] Retornar a la mar comes from the deepest respect and love I feel for nature. Through two pieces, Abraça’m and Respirar, of jewelry in glass, fragile and delicate, but at the same time, resistant and durable, biodiversity and its beauty are valued. This project is based on the experimentation and technification of the process of flamework and fuming in glass in the world of contemporary artistic jewelry and research and exploration on the importance and environmental value of the ecosystems of the Mediterranean Sea, and more specifically of two of its endemic species, the red coral and ocean posidonia, with the intention of creating an awareness and sensitivity around this. Glass as presence and absence, which imposes a silence to show the shape of what is no longer there.
