[cat] La diversitat lingüística és un fenomen que s’esdevé en la majoria dels estats del món, per no dir a tots. No obstant això, la gestió del rol que desenvolupen les diverses varietats lingüístiques dins de cada comunitat —és a dir, allò que entenem per «política lingüística»— canvia molt d’un estat a un altre. En aquest sentit, amb el present treball, pretenem fer una anàlisi de quina és la gestió que fa l’Estat espanyol del multilingüisme als seus òrgans centrals. Més concretament, farem atenció a les tries i els usos lingüístics que s’esdevenen al poder legislatiu —és a dir, les Corts Generals— i al poder executiu —format pel Govern i la Corona—. D’aquesta manera, i un cop hàgim fet estudiat les polítiques de planificació lingüística presents a les institucions centrals espanyoles; intentarem determinar quin és model d’organització del plurilingüisme vigent i, si és procedent, proposar-ne un de més adequat.
[eng] Linguistic diversity is a phenomenon that occurs in most, if not all, countries around the world. However, the management of the role played by the different linguistic varieties within each community —that is, what is understood as "language policy"— varies greatly from one state to another. In this sense, this paper intends to analyze how the Spanish State manages multilingualism in its central bodies. More specifically, we will pay attention to the choices and linguistic uses that occur in the legislative power —that is, the Cortes Generales— and in the executive power —formed by the Government and the Crown—. In this way, and once we have studied the linguistic planning policies present in the Spanish central institutions, we will try to determine which is the current model of organization of multilingualism and, if appropriate, propose a more adequate one.
