[spa] Después de la Guerra Civil Española, Barcelona se convierte en un polo de atracción para una población migrante que busca un lugar donde asentarse y prosperar. Estas personas migradas se encontraron una ciudad dura, y con escasas oportunidades y tuvieron que crear barriadas informales de barracas y luchar por conseguir un trato digno. Así las mujeres por más de cuarenta años mantuvieron un pulso con las instituciones y su entorno, donde no solo estaba en juego un lugar habitable, sino que también algo que hoy día está normalizado, su condición como mujeres. ¿Qué papel tuvo la mujer con su entorno y con las instituciones en esos cuarenta años? Esta fue una lucha que marcó un referente en los procesos participativos en la ciudad Condal.
[eng] After the Spanish Civil War, Barcelona became a pole of attraction for a migrant population, looking for a place to settle and prosper. These migrants found themselves in a tough city, with few opportunities, and had to create informal neighborhoods of barracks and fight for decent treatment. Thus these women for more than forty years kept a pulse with the institutions and their environment, where not only was a livable place at stake, but also something that is now normalized, their condition as women. What role did women play with their environment and with the institutions in those forty years? This was a struggle that set a benchmark in participatory processes in Barcelona.
