“La terra per sembrar”: resistencias y conflicto en el Pirineo catalán

[spa] A partir del caso del Pirineo catalán, nos interesa analizar la emergencia de un discurso crítico inédito hasta este momento en la región que se opone abiertamente a lo que cada vez más se denomina como “monocultivo turístico”. En el marco de una serie de proyectos no necesariamente coordinados pero que se reconocen como parte de una lucha colectiva por modelos contrahegemónicos de desarrollo social, opuestos a las lógicas de explotación dominantes del capitalismo y que hemos denominado como “resistencias rurales”, se consolida un discurso crítico que organiza nuevos imaginarios de lucha y propone formas alternativas. Se constata, en este contexto, el surgimiento de un paisaje de movilización social que responde a intereses y perspectivas compartidas y permite avistar, en muchos casos, un horizonte de exploración de alternativas que tiene el potencial de promover nuevos debates.
[eng] Based on the case of the Catalan Pyrenees, we are interested in analysing the emergence of a critical discourse hitherto unheard of in the region that openly opposes the tourist specialization. Within the framework of a series of projects that are not necessarily coordinated but that are recognized as part of a collective struggle for counter-hegemonic models of social development, opposed to the dominant logics of exploitation of capitalism and that we have called "rural resistances", a critical discourse is consolidated that organizes new imaginaries of struggle and proposes alternative forms. In this context, we can see the emergence of a landscape of social mobilization that responds to shared interests and perspectives and allows us to glimpse, in many cases, a horizon of exploration of alternatives that has the potential to promote new debates.
