Abstract

[cat] El projecte Espais, temps i trànsits parla sobre el lloc on vivim i habitem, que podem denominar llar. L’obra manifesta la necessitat de retornar a un espai i temps concret per tal de prendre consciència d’on venim i on estem. L’escultura mostra la distribució en l’espai de 8 localitzacions que es corresponen als habitatges on he viscut a la ciutat de Castelldefels. Cadascuna d’elles conté el registre en ciment i alginat del terra extret del sota-panot dels carrers on s’hi troben. Les localitzacions estan traçades a mode d’itinerari a la superfície d’acer, recolçada sobre una estructura de fusta creada a partir de palets. Des d’una perspectiva quasi arqueològica, l’espectador experimentarà el recorregut del traçat observant així els registres sota la superfície de la instal·lació i, sent, per tant, partícip de l’efecte de transitar, és a dir, del canvi d’estats i de llocs.

[eng] The project Espais, temps i trànsits is a reflect of where we live and inhabit, what we can consider as our home. The piece manifests the need to get back to a specific space and time in order to take conscience about where we come from and where we are. The sculpture shows the disposition in the space of 8 localizations from the places where I have lived in the city of Castelldefels. Each one of these contains a concrete and alginate registry taken from the under tile located on its corresponding street. Localizations are positioned as an itinerary on the steel surface, which is supported on a wood structure composed by pallets. From a nearly archeological perspective, the viewer will follow the path and observe the registries under the surface, and hence being a partaker of the transitions, that is, the changes of the statuses and places.
