Aquest treball analitza la construcció de polígons regulars en el tractat Teorica y practica de fortificación (1598) de Cristóbal de Rojas, destacant-ne la relació entre geometria i enginyeria militar al segle XVI. Mitjan¸cant una anàlisi històrica i matemàtica, s’interpreten i s’avaluen la validesa i la rigorositat de construccions teòriques amb més de quatre segles d’antiguitat.
This study analyzes the construction of regular polygons in Crist´obal de Rojas’s Teorica y practica de fortificaci´on (1598), highlighting the relationship between geometry and military engineering in the 16th century. Through a historical and mathematical analysis, it interprets and evaluates the validity and mathematical rigor of theoretical constructions over four centuries old.
