[cat]Aquest treball planteja una lectura hermenèutica del cicle de lieder Winterreise, de Wilhelm
Müller i Franz Schubert, des del pressupòsit fonamental que música i literatura participen, en
ell, de la mateixa aventura significant. Intentant deixar enrere la concepció de la cançó com a
escenari d’un conflicte entre codis artístics, la interpretació que segueix situa les formes
musicals i literàries del Winterreise sota la perspectiva del pensament filosòfic del primer
Romanticisme alemany. Es mostra, en primer lloc, l’ús que pot tenir el concepte schlegelià
d’historicisme a l’hora de descriure el nou paradigma hermenèutic que semblen proposar els
seus autors. A continuació, sempre en relació a la pregunta pel fet de comprendre, s’analitza el
Winterreise com a praxis de la ironia romàntica i, amb ella, del projecte formatiu romàntic.
Finalment, es discuteix la rellevància metodològica del concepte romàntic de crítica i s’analitza
la naturalesa del sentit que ha posat al descobert la lectura hermenèutica de l’obra.

[eng]This essay offers a hermeneutic reading of the song cycle Winterreise, by Wilhelm Müller and Franz Schubert. At its base lies the conviction that, within it, music and literature engage in one and the same signifying adventure. Trying to critically part from a certain conception of song that views in it the scenario of a conflict between artistic languages, the following interpretation confronts Winterreise’s musical and literary form(s) from the philosophical perspective of Early German Romanticism. In the first place, the use of Schlegel’s concept of historicism at the time of describing the new hermeneutical paradigm sketched by its authors is put to the test. Then, always in relation to the question of meaning, the song cycle is read as a practical application of Romantic irony and, with it, of the Romantic formative project. Finally, the methodological relevance of the Romantic concept of critics is brought to discussion, after which comes an analysis of the nature of the meaning uncovered by the preceding hermeneutic reading of the work.
