[spa] El presente trabajo consiste en el estudio de los restos de fauna encontrados en la UE 37
durante la intervención arqueológica de 2010 en el Monasterio de Santa María de
Pedralbes (Barcelona). El conjunto formaba parte de los desechos del antiguo vertedero
de la cocina del monasterio cuya datación engloba desde el siglo XIV hasta el XIX.
Mediante el análisis arqueozoológico de dichos elementos, el objetivo principal es
determinar la dieta de las monjas clarisas que habitaron el monasterio durante el período
comprendido entre la época medieval y moderna.
[eng] The present work consists of the study of the remains of fauna found in the UE 37 during the archaeological intervention of 2010 in the Monastery of Santa María de Pedralbes (Barcelona). The set was part of the waste from the old dump of the monastery kitchen whose dating ranges from the fourteenth to the nineteenth century. Through the archeozoological analysis of these elements, the main objective is to determine the diet of the Poor Clare nuns who inhabited the monastery during the period between medieval and modern times.
