[spa] Este proyecto de fin de carrera consiste en la presentación de unas obras pictóricas, bocetos, dibujos, formatos grandes y pequeños, realizados con técnicas diversas que han ayudado a configurar las obras de
gran formato, en las que se puede percibir tanto mis intereses temáticos e inquietudes personales como el
proceso creativo y evolutivo. El enfoque primordial de toda la obra es la relación del individuo con la sociedad, vista e interpretada desde mi mundo interior donde el artista enfrentado, acaba adoptando una actitud desconfiada y a la defensiva. El lobo y el cordero, que protagonizan gran parte del conjunto, simbolizan una metáfora de la que derivan otras metáforas que forman un hilo conductor que en diferentes representaciones llevan al mismo argumento que comparten todas las obras. A través de estas figuras quiero mostrar el “YO” frente a la sociedad, que se defi ende de las amenazas del entorno, donde cordero y lobo intercambian sus papeles dependiendo de las circunstancias. Los autorretratos que forman parte de este conjunto temático representan un autocuestionamiento de la persona, ya que mis creaciones artísticas simbolizan la guerra personal, una batalla difícil de vencer contra los enemigos imaginarios, pero donde “YO” como artista creadora del mundo puedo manifestarme. Por último, muestro el contraste de la vida y la muerte, como destino existencial. El conjunto de las obras muestra una fuerte crítica social, basada en la investigación y exploración de la naturaleza humana, apoyadas a la vez por referencias encontradas en estudios y creaciones de otros artistas que han tratado temas y conceptos afines a mis intereses personales y artísticos.
[eng] In this final project I present a collection on pictorial works, sketches, drawings, big and small formats, realized with diff erent techniques that helped to shape the works of big formats, and which reflects my thematic interests and personal anxieties, and at the same time the creative and evolutionary process. The main focus of my work is the relationship between the individual and the society, seen and interpreted from my interior world where the confronted artist, on the defensive, finally adopts an untrusting attitude. The wolf and the lamb, that have the leading role in a big part of the collection, symbolize a metaphor that divides in other metaphors and fi nally form an unifying thread that in different representations leads to the same plot that all the works share. Using these fi gures I want to show the “I” facing up to the society, who defends himself/herself from the threats of the environment, where the lamb and the wolf exchange their roles depending on the circumstances. Th e self-portraits that form part of the collection symbolize my personal war, a battle against my imaginary enemies difficult to defeat, but where I, as an artist creating my own world, can manifest myself. Finally, I show the contrast of life and death, as an existential destiny. The combination of the works shows a strong criticism of the society, based on investigation and exploration of the human nature, supported at the same time by references found in studies and creations of other artists who considered the same topics and concepts related to my personal and artistic interests.
