Abstract
[eng] For centuries and around the world, the history of ornithology has been linked to scientific illustration. The drawing has traditionally been a way to get closer to nature, and allowed us to describe morphologically the birds and understand their behaviour. This work focuses on the development, methodology and drawing of a picture of science; more specifically of a quite common bird in the city of Barcelona: The Iberian goldfinch or Carduelis carduelis parva. A way to knowing and appreciate something very close to us, but unfamiliar to the vast majority of people.
