[spa] Gobernar es, ante todo, pactar. A partir de las consideraciones propias de las teorías de las coaliciones políticas, se analizan los 234 Gobiernos autonómicos formados entre 1980 y 2015 gracias a la base de datos generada por el Observatorio de los Gobiernos de Coalición (OGC). El análisis se centra en la tipología de los Gobiernos formados, el comportamiento de los partidos políticos según su ámbito de organización, la estabilidad de los Gobiernos y el rendimiento político de los mismos, sin olvidar apuntar la importancia de las dinámicas multinivel para una mejor comprensión de las decisiones sobre la participación (o no) en un Gobierno de coalición.

Starting from the assumptions of the theories of political coalitions, we analyze 234 regional Governments formed between 1980 and 2015 using the database generated by the Observatory of Coalition Governments (OGC). The analysis focuses on the types of Governments formed, the behavior of political parties according to their level of organization, the stability of Governments and political performance thereof, without forgetting the importance of the multilevel dynamics for a better understanding about the decisions on the participation (or not) in a coalition Government.
