Abstract
[spa] Trabajo con la ausencia, el dolor y la tragedia para construir una narrativa de dibujos en pequeños fragmentos. “Así el dibujo se vuele viaje, el viaje se vuelve ausencia, la memoria espera y la espera presencia”. Además me preocupa la tradición, la cultura y la riqueza de mi historia, me preocupa que todo se desvanece y muere con mis abuelos, me preocupa que las nuevas generaciones no sabrán de lo que yo tuve la fortuna de conocer, que perdamos nuestra conexión con el origen ¿Hacia donde puede ir el hombre que no sabe de donde viene?.
[eng] I work with absence, pain and tragedy to construct a narrative of drawings in small fragments. “In this way the drawing become journey, the journey becomes absence, the memory waits and the waiting resence”. I am also worried about the tradition, the culture and the richness of my history, I worry that everything fades and dies with my grandparents, I worry that the new generations will not know what I had the fortune to know, that we lose our connection with The origin. Where can the man who does not know where he comes from go?
