[spa] La investigación trata sobre las competencias docentes, centrándose específicamente en las competencias evaluativas del profesorado de educación primaria, es decir, la capacidad de los maestros(as) de constatar adecuadamente los aprendizajes de sus estudiantes y de valorar su propia práctica educativa. Este estudio plantea el diseño de un instrumento de auto evaluación que facilite a los docentes la reflexión en torno a sus competencias evaluativas. La metodología utilizada es de tipo mixto exploratorio de dos fases: inicialmente una cualitativa, en la que se recogió información de maestros y otros profesionales de la educación y posteriormente una etapa de recogida de datos cuantitativa con un cuestionario aplicado a profesorado en ejercicio en distintas escuelas de Chile. Si bien el énfasis de este trabajo está en el diseño del instrumento evaluativo, los resultados obtenidos han permitido tener un diagnóstico sobre la percepción de los maestros de educación primaria respecto de sus competencias evaluativas.
[eng] This research is about teaching skills, focusing specifically on the assessment skills of elementary school teachers or the ability of teachers to properly assess the learning of their students and to evaluate their own educational practice. The study presents the design of a self-evaluation tool for teachers to facilitate reflection on their assessment skills. The methodology is an exploratory mixed type of two phases: an initial qualitative, which information was collected from teachers and other education professionals and then a quantitative phase data collection with a questionnaire administered to practicing teachers in schools in Chile. While the emphasis of this work is the design of an assessment tool, the results obtained have permitted a diagnostic of the perception of elementary teachers about their evaluation skills.
