[ cat] L’ideal de l’amor romàntic i els mites que d’ell se’n deriven són encara, avui en dia, creences presents
en la cultura occidental en relació al que de veritat significa l’amor en la parella. Veurem com aquest
ideal que es té sobre l’amor pot convertir-se en una de les possibles causes de la violència de gènere.
Analitzarem la presència d’aquests mites i l’acceptació o no, per part de set dones que han patit
violència masclista, d’aquest model d’amor romàntic. Reflexionarem sobre el fenomen i formularem
algunes línies de treball a dur a terme des de l’Educació Social per tal de seguir lluitant per eliminar la
violència contra les dones en el marc de les relacions de parella.
[eng] The ideal of romantic love and the myths it creates are present beliefs in Western culture, when it comes to what love in a relationship actually means. We will see how this ideal can become one of the causes of gender violence. We will analyze the presence of these myths, and the approval or disapproval of this model of romantic love by seven women who have suffered gender violence. We will reflect on this phenomenon and draw the framework of the labor that Social Education should carry out in order to continue fighting against gender violence in the context of relationships.
