The Community project is based on the belief that the practice of physical
exercise and sports is key to improving the well-being of refugees and
asylum-seekers. It assumes that simply doing any type of physical
exercise on a regular basis is essential for these groups. In addition to
providing a whole series of physical, psychological and emotional benefits,
it also allows them to perform an activity in a natural social context in
which they must test and improve their communication and interpersonal
relationship skills.
