[spa] En San Pedro ad Vincula de Echano trabajaron tres grupos de escultores. El «taller de la Valdorba», el de Leodegarius y un enigmático grupo de escul- tores que realizó la portada norte y los capiteles del arco fajón occidental y que trabajó en la iglesia de Sarbazan (Las Landas). Tanto en Echano como en Sarbazan y Saint-Aubin se representa a Daniel en el foso de los leones junto a unos individuos que podrían ser los comitentes. En estos lugares es posible que dicho episodio esté inmerso en un programa relacionado con la contrapo- sición entre el juicio divino y el juicio terrenal. Echano es un edificio en el que confluyen tendencias locales y foráneas, estas últimas procedentes tanto de los principales centros artísticos navarros como de ámbitos más alejados.
[eng] Three groups of sculptors worked in San Pedro ad Vincula of Echano: the so-called Valdorba workshop, Leodegarius's workshop, and an enigmatic group of sculptors who decorated the north portal and the capitals of the western transverse arch and also worked in the church of Sarbazan (Landes). In Sarba-zan, Echano and also in Saint-Aubin, Daniel in the lion's den is represented together with individuals who may be donors. The Daniel episode might be included as part of an iconographic program related to the opposition between earthly and divine judgment. In Echano there is a convergence of local and foreign trends, which derive from both the main artistic centers of Navarra and from more remote regions.
