utiliza este producto audiovisual para trazar un camino entre la problemática del artista de hoy y la influencia que tiene la representación del mito del genio bebedor. Conflictos como enfrentarse a la creación, las adicciones, la infelicidad, la depresión y la estética del suicidio, son abordados a través del análisis de esta
producción de Netflix.
[eng] The BoJack Horseman series (2014-2020) is one of the most acclaimed animated series of the last decade. Its protagonist, an anthropomorphic horse actor from Hollywood, is a compulsive drinker. Alcohol is present in BoJack’s life in different ways and for different purposes. This thesis uses this audiovisual product to trace a path between the problems of today’s artist and the influence that the representation of the myth of the genius drinker has. Conflicts such as facing creation, addictions, unhappiness, depression and the aesthetics of suicide are addressed through the analysis of this Netflix production.
