[spa] Este estudio analiza los usos del tiempo en lo que se refiere al trabajo doméstico y de cuidados
en la ciudad de La Paz, Bolivia. Con la finalidad de estimar la distribución de estas actividades
por género en los hogares y con el propósito de comprobar y reflejar una situación estructural
de desigualdad. Así como analizar las variables que expliquen la tendencia de la distribución
en los diferentes casos. Tras revisar la teoría académica y otras investigaciones al respecto, se
construyó una encuesta para obtener los datos deseados. Para llevar a cabo este proyecto se ha
utilizado una metodología cuantitativa y cualitativa.
[eng] This study analyses time uses regarding to household and care work in La Paz, Bolivia. With the aim to estimate the distribution of these activities for gender specific analysis in the households and in order to verify and reflect a structural inequality situation. As well as analysing the variables which can explain the tendency of the distribution in the different cases. After reviewing the academic theory and other investigations in this respect, a survey was built to obtain the desired data. A quantitative and qualitative methodology has been used to develop this project.
