Abstract
[cat] El present treball versa sobre les dones que treballaven a l’Hospital de la Santa Creu de Barcelona durant el segle XV. En ell, s’aborden els oficis dedicats a l’assistència a malalts, a la infància abandonada i a les tasques domèstiques de l’Hospital. L’assistència a la infància abandonada s’exemplifica amb l’interessant cas de la comtessa siciliana Anastasia Spatafora. Les conclusions d’aquest treball permeten acostar-nos a una realitat laboral molt complexa i heterogènia del món assistencial a l’Hospital de la Santa Creu.
[eng] The paper focuses on the women who worked in the Hospital of the Holy Cross in Barcelona during the15th century. They devoted to the sick and abandoned childhood and carried out household tasks. The example of the Sicilian countess Anastasia Spatafora allow to bring closer a complex and diverse working reality of the aid world in Hospital de la Santa Creu.
