L’evolució museològica i museogràfica de les exposicions dedicades a la figura de Picasso al MoMA

[cat] En aquest treball examinarem l’evolució museològica i museogràfica de les exposicions de Picasso al MoMA, analitzant com aquesta institució ha projectat la figura de l’artista i legitimat l’avantguarda. S’analitzarà l’evolució de les narratives museogràfiques tant en les exposicions temporals com en la col·lecció permanent del museu, posant un èmfasi especial en obres icòniques com Les Demoiselles d’Avignon. A més, es reflexionarà sobre la influència del MoMA en altres institucions, com el Museu Picasso de Barcelona, destacant el seu paper en la consolidació de la figura de Picasso. Finalment, platejarem com podria evolucionar en el futur la museografia enfocada en Picasso dins del MoMa, integrant noves narratives contemporànies, tecnologies

[eng] This project examines the museological and museographic evolution of Picasso exhibitions at MoMA, analysing how the institution has projected the artist's figure and legitimized the avantgarde. It explores the development of museographic narratives in both temporary exhibitions and the museum's permanent collection, with particular emphasis on iconic works such as Les Demoiselles d’Avignon. Furthermore, it reflects on MoMA’s influence on other institutions, such as the Museu Picasso in Barcelona, highlighting its role in consolidating Picasso’s legacy. Finally, the study considers how MoMA's approach to Picasso could evolve in the future, integrating new contemporary narratives, interactive technologies, and innovative resources to ensure the institution’s continued relevance and enhance the visitor experience.
