[spa] El franquisme ha estat objecte d’un llarg debat historiogràfic sobre la seva naturalesa, és a
dir, al voltant de la qüestió de quin tipus de règim polític, econòmic i social va ser la
dictadura franquista. Aquest règim es va iniciar a partir de la victòria del bàndol revoltat a
la Guerra Civil (1936-1939) i finalitzà amb la mort de Franco l’any 1975.
El plantejament del treball es basa en l’estudi de les principals postures del debat sobre
l’essència del règim franquista i la seva relació amb el feixisme, a partir de la bibliografia
de diferents historiadors, politòlegs i sociòlegs, com Juan José Linz, Manuel Tuñón de
Lara, Stanley G. Payne, Roger Griffin i Ismael Saz, entre altres, tot analitzant diferents
perspectives historiogràfiques.
[eng] Francoism has been the subject of a long historiographical debate about its nature. This is around the question of what kind of political, economic and social regime the Franco dictatorship was. This regime began with the victory of the rebel side in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) and ended in 1975 with Franco’s death. The approach of this work is based on the study of the main positions taken in the debate about the essence of Franco’s regime and its relationship with fascism. This is done according to the bibliography of several historians, political scientists and sociologists, such as Juan José Linz, Manuel Tuñón de Lara, Stanley G. Payne, Roger Griffin and Ismael Saz, while also analysing different historiographical perspectives.
