[cat] Aquest treball se centra en explorar, mitjançant l’ús del dibuix: la identitat, la transformació i la percepció de l’individu dins les relacions que l’envolten. A través de personatges ficticis extrets de l’imaginari personal de l’artista, l’obra investiga la relació entre l’espectador, l’autor i la representació artística, qüestionant els prejudicis visuals i la construcció del subjecte.
Inspirat en la pregunta “M’estimaries si fos un cuc?”, el projecte es nodreix de referents com La societat de l’espectacle de Guy Debord i La metamorfosi de Franz Kafka. L’elecció del dibuix sobre paper busca emfatitzar la fragilitat i l’honestedat del procés artístic, mentre que els entorns naturals i florals reforcen conceptes com el pas del temps, la puresa i l’espiritualitat, en línia amb els estudis botànics d’artistes com Ellsworth Kelly i Katsushika Hokusai. El projecte proposa un diàleg visual i conceptual sobre la identitat i la mirada de l’altre, utilitzant la transformació i el judici social com a eines narratives, evocant el caràcter simbòlic de les faules i qüestionant la percepció del jo en relació amb el seu entorn.
[spa] Este trabajo se centra en explorar, mediante el uso del dibujo: la identidad, la transformación y la percepción del individuo dentro de las relaciones que le rodean. A través de personajes ficticios extraídos del imaginario personal del artista, la obra investiga la relación entre el espectador, el autor y la representación artística, cuestionando los prejuicios visuales y la construcción del sujeto. Inspirado en la pregunta “¿Me querrías si fuera un gusano?”, el proyecto se nutre de referentes como La sociedad del espectáculo de Guy Debord y La metamorfosis de Franz Kafka. La elección del dibujo sobre papel busca enfatizar la fragilidad y honestidad del proceso artístico, mientras que los entornos naturales y florales refuerzan conceptos como el paso del tiempo, la pureza y la espiritualidad, en línea con los estudios botánicos de artistas como Ellsworth Kelly y Katsushika Hokusai. El proyecto propone un diálogo visual y conceptual sobre la identidad y la mirada del otro, utilizando la transformación y el juicio social como herramientas narrativas, evocando el carácter simbólico de las fábulas y cuestionando la percepción del yo en relación a su entorno.
[eng] This work focuses on exploring, through the use of drawing: the identity, the transformation and the perception of the individual within the relationships that surround him. Through fictitious characters taken from the artist’s personal imagination, the work investigates the relationship between the viewer, the author and the artistic representation, questioning visual prejudices and the construction of the subject. Inspired by the question “Would you love me if I were a worm?”, the project draws on references such as Guy Debord’s Society of the Spectacle and Franz Kafka’s The Metamorphosis. The choice of drawing on paper seeks to emphasize the fragility and honesty of the artistic process, while the natural and floral environments reinforce concepts such as the passage of time, purity and spirituality, in line with the botanical studies of artists such as Ellsworth Kelly and Katsushika Hokusai. The project proposes a visual and conceptual dialogue about the identity and the gaze of the other, using transformation and social judgment as narrative tools, evoking the symbolic nature of fables and questioning the perception of the self in relation to its environment.
