[cat] En els versos 1178‐81 del Miles gloriosus de Plaute, Palestrió suggereix a Plèusicles que es disfressi de mariner per tal d'enganyar el soldat Pirgopolinices. L'objectiu d'aquest article és sotmetre a examen els elements que conformen aquesta disfressa: un capell d'estil macedoni, una túnica d'un estrany color ferruginós i, molt en especial, un pedaç de llana als ulls, la funció del qual desperta per força la curiositat i el fa objecte d'interès.

The aim of this article is to review the elements that make up this costume: a Macedonian‐style hat, a tunic of a strange ferruginous color and, in particular, an eyepatch of wool, the function of which necessarily awakes the curiosity and makes it subject of interest.
