[spa] Este trabajo tiene como propósito analizar cómo la visión existencialista del mundo y la pulsión de muerte se manifiestan en la obra poética de Idea Vilariño. El despojo que se lleva a cabo en su lírica y la negación como elemento estructurador también se tendrán en cuenta al analizar los temas principales. De este modo, se intentará obtener un mejor entendimiento de cómo el pesimismo y la muerte operan en la obra de la uruguaya.
[eng] The purpose of this paper is to analyse how the existentialist vision of the world and the death drive are manifested in Idea Vilariño's poetic work. The dispossession that takes place in her poetry and negation as a structuring element will also be taken into account when analysing the main themes. In this way, an attempt will be made to obtain a better understanding of how pessimism and death operate in the Uruguayan poet's work.
