Abstract
[eng] The present study’s main goal is to produce a building pattern for the circular churches located in the vicinity of Catalonia. These churches date back to the High Medieval Ages between the 10th and 12th centuries. As a consequence of setting this paper’s main goal, a hypothesis was also constructed to prove these churches’ origin and inspiration on the “Anàstasis del Sant Sepulcre de Jerusalem”. In order to produce this paper a preliminary research has been carried out to collect every study written about the aforementioned churches. After informatizing the data, a few parameters have been established with the purpose of comparing the churches floor plan and therefore be able to confirm or disprove the existence of a common building plan among them.
