Resum
Dame Alas is an educational project that aims to respond to education for the ecosocial transition by
producing didactic material to work on the value and conservation of bird biodiversity in secondary education.
To this end, a methodology has been followed that incorporates a) interdisciplinary work between researchers,
teachers and environmental educators in the field of biology, the environment, didactics and pedagogy; b) validation
by a panel of experts made up of people belonging to institutions of ecology, ornithology and education
and c) validation in the educational context in secondary education centers. The material has been implemented
in 31 secondary schools and almost 2,000 students, a pilot test that has been analyzed based on questionnaires,
interviews, and work seminars with teachers. This has made it possible to obtain a final material with
a high value of relevance, objectivity and transferability. The final material is made up of an interdisciplinary
learning situation, three didactic sequences, a field trip and the incorporation of the INaturalist citizen science
application and will be available through the institutional websites of the group that has led the project
