Abstract

[cat] El projecte sorgeix davant la impotència de veure com la masia de Cal Met Natrus, al llarg dels anys, s’ha anat ensorrant sense poder-hi fer res. A causa de la proximitat amb l’aeroport del Prat i la progressiva decadència de l’agricultura, la casa s’ha convertit en un espai condemnat a la desaparició. Però hem de seguir esperant que la masia caigui? Hem de donar-li la raó a les veus que ens repeteixen que creure en la casa és utòpic, una idea romàntica a la que ens aferrem a causa de la vinculació personal que tenim amb ella? Embolicar la runa que, poc a poc, es va desprenent i guardar-la en un dels armaris de la masia, de forma simbòlica, és anunciar que encara creiem en l’espai. Que tot i haver-la abandonat, tenim l’esperança que un dia torni a renéixer.

[eng] The project arise from the impotence to see how the farmhouse Cal Met Natrus has been collapsing over the years without us being able to do anything. Due to its proxitmity to the El Prat airport and the gradual disappearence of agriculture, the house has become a place doomed to disappearance. Should we continue to expect the house to fall completly? Are the people right who belive that the house is utopian, a romantic idea to which we cling because of the personal relationship we have with it? Wrap the rubble that is slowly fallling and store it in a cupboard on the farm, simbolically meaning that we still believe in the house. However, despite having abandoned it, we hope that one day it will be reborn.
