Enrolled in the collection of normative documents of the University of Barcelona, this II University of Barcelona plan for equal opportunities between women and men represents an ambitious and truly cross-disciplinary project, the result of work conducted over a series of years by different collectives in the university community to bring the concept of gender equality closer to the areas of management, research and teaching. With this document, approved by all the centre committees, the Equality Unit aims to implement the measures that are implemented in it and encourages the entire university community to share and empower it unreservedly. After all, the implementation of positive actions that eliminate discrimination in the functioning of entities, bodies and competences will ensure the excellence and quality of the coexistence of all the people who make up the University.
Descripció
While in session on April 12, 2011, the Governing Council gave a unanimous vote of approval to the Second University of Barcelona Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men.
