La injustícia en la vellesa

[cat] L’article parteix de la percepció d’injustícia de la desatenció que pateixen les persones grans com en les sevesn famílies i curador/es. Es vol explorar la relació que s’estableix entre aquest sentiment d’injustícia amb el reclam, jurídic i moral, d’un major i més eficaç desplegament públic del sistema de protecció social a la dependència. El treball de camp permet adonar-se’n dels diferents percepcions que sorgeixen al voltant dels processos d’assumpció i transmissió de responsabilitats en relació a la cura, i permet apropar-se a una comprensió de la injustícia viscuda.

[eng] The starting point of this article is the perception of injustice in the neglect suffered by elderly people and among their families and carers. It examines the relationship between this feeling of injustice and the legal and moral demand for a more farranging and effective public implementation of the social welfare system for dependency. Fieldwork shows the various perceptions arising from the processes involved in the assumption and transfer of care responsibilities, and provides an understanding of the injustice experienced.
