[cat] En el treball que aquí es presenta s’estudia un conjunt de gresols metal·lúrgics adscrits a un moment d’ús situat a finals del s.VIII dC. Aquests foren localitzats al Saló del Tinell del Palau Reial de Barcelona i suposen una de les escasses evidències materials d’aquest període trobades a la ciutat. La seva anàlisi respon a l’objectiu de concretar la informació al voltant de la funció i característiques tècniques d’aquestes ceràmiques, així com a la voluntat d’ampliar la informació històrica sobre la transició entre la Barcelona andalusina i la ciutat carolíngia. L’estudi s’ha dut a terme a partir de la informació històrica i arqueològica del context al qual es vinculen les peces i també en base a l’anàlisi arqueomètrica de les mateixes. Així, s’han fet observacions macroscòpiques de cadascun dels gresols i a més s’han aplicat les tècniques de la Fluorescència de Raigs X (FRX), Difracció de Raigs X (DRX) i Microscòpia Electrònica de Rastreig (MER).
[eng] The present work shows a research on a group of metallurgical crucibles (8th century) that have been found in the Saló del Tinell (Palau Reial de Barcelona). They represent one of the few examples of archaeological materials from this period that have been located in Barcelona. The aim of the study is to settle on the information about the purpose and the technical features of these ceramic pieces. Moreover, we have tried to increase the historical knowledge relating to the transition from the Andalusian Barcelona to the Carolingian city. The methodology of the research has considered the historical and archaeological information as well as archaeometric analysis. In particular, macroscopic observations of each one of the crucibles, X Ray Fluorescence (XRF), X Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
