Abstract

[en] The restricted three-body problem is a particular version of the three-body problem widely used in astronomical problems, where one of the bodies is assumed to have negligible mass and no gravitational influence on the others. In this work we give an introduction to the general three-body problem and subsequently study the restricted three-body problem, its zero velocity curves and the stability of its equilibrium points.
