En este trabajo se realizará un inventario y una clasificación de todos los cuchillos de bronce y hierro del Bronce final y la primera edad del Hierro procedentes de las necrópolis catalanas. Para ello se digitalizarán las imágenes disponibles y se realizará una base de datos con toda la información disponible. Las características formales así como los datos cuantitativos (medidas) de las partes del cuchillo se procesarán mediante técnicas multivariantes, para poder así crear una propuesta tipológica de clasificación de los cuchillos de hierro de Can Piteu-Can Roqueta. El resto de datos se analizarán para tratar otras cuestiones relevantes como la distribución de los cuchillos en las necrópolis catalanas, así como su funcionalidad, tecnología y cronología a partir de sus contextos de aparición.
In this work an inventory and classification of all bronze and iron knives Late Bronze and Early Iron Ages were made. For this the available images will be digitized and made a good database with all available information. The formal characteristics as well as quantitative data (measures) of knife parts are processed by multivariate techniques, in order to create a typological classification proposal of the iron knives to Can Piteu-Can Roqueta. The remaining data will be analyzed to treat other important issues as the distribution of knives in the necropolis and territories studied, as well as its functionality, technology and chronology from their contexts of appearance.
