Pueden ser sujetos causantes de las prestaciones por muerte y supervivencia también los beneficiarios de pensiones SOVI: su carácter contributivo y su feminización exigen el reconocimiento del derecho a tales beneficiarios, desde la perspectiva de género que debe guiar la interpretación de la norma, pues lo contrario conduciría a una discriminación indirecta por razón de género, considerando que la mayoría de los beneficiarios de las pensiones SOVI son mujeres.
The beneficiaries of SOVI pensions may also to give rise to the survival benefits: their contributory character and their feminization require the recognition of the right to such beneficiaries, from the gender perspective that should guide the interpretation of the norm, as otherwise it would lead to indirect gender discrimination, considering that the majority of SOVI pension beneficiaries are women.
