Intervenció nutricional en pacients oncològics de cap i coll: nutrició enteral i microbiota

[cat] En l’actualitat el càncer és una de les principals causes de mort arreu del món. Concretament, el càncer de cap i coll es troba com el desè càncer més freqüent a Espanya. L’estat del pacient i el tipus de tractament poden afectar principalment a la zona bucal, què complica l’alimentació per via oral i això causa deficiències nutricionals en els pacients. S’estima que un 10% dels pacients hospitalitzats rebran nutrició enteral, aquest tipus d’alimentació té conseqüències a llarg termini, entre elles, el canvi en la composició de la microbiota, i aquesta en la salut. L’objectiu d’aquesta revisió és detallar la intervenció nutricional en aquests pacients amb càncer de cap i coll, incloent-hi productes com probiòtics o prebiòtics, per a comprovar el seu efecte en l’àmbit clínic per tal de pal·liar els efectes de la nutrició enteral en la microbiota intestinal dels pacients. Una millor intervenció farà que l’estat del pacient millori i amb ell la resposta al tractament oncològic.

The state of the patient and the type of treatment can affect mainly the mouth, which complicates food orally and this causes nutritional deficiencies in patients. It is estimated that 10% of hospitalized patients will receive enteral nutrition, this type of diet has long term consequences, including a change in the composition of the microbiota and that of health. The aim of this review is to detail the nutritional intervention in these patients with head and neck cancer, including products such as probiotics or prebiotics, to check its effect in the clinical setting in order to mitigate the effects. of enteral nutrition in the intestinal microbiota of patients. A better intervention will progress the patient's and an improved response to cancer treatment.
