Abstract
[cat] El present treball té com a objectiu l’anàlisi de les tendències en la tècnica de producció dels vidriats policroms de les ceràmiques majòliques produïdes a Talavera de la Reina i a Sevilla als segles XVII i XVIII, així com les ceràmiques comunes policromes produïdes a Barcelona als segles XVII i XVIII. L’estudi s’ha portat a terme d’una banda a partir de la bibliografia relativa a la documentació de l’època en qüestió; i, d’una altra banda, a partir de l’anàlisi arqueològica incorporant tècniques arqueomètriques. Així, conjuntament al treball arqueològic tradicional s’han fet observacions macroscòpiques dels vidriats per lupa binocular i microscòpiques per Microscòpia Electrònica de Rastreig (MER). Els resultats s’han contemplat des d’un vessant social i econòmic, permetent extrapolar el perquè de la seva elaboració: usos, finalitat, i cost de producció: i en última instància l’impacte que varen suposar les noves produccions esmaltades.
[eng] The aim of this study is to produce an overview about the trend in the production technique of glazes in majolica polychrome wares made in Talavera de la Reina and Sevilla in the 16th, 17th, and 18th, as well as the common polychrome pottery made in Barcelona in the 17th, and 18th. This study has been carried out on the one side by means of the bibliography based on the written sources of the period considered; and, on the other side from the archaeological point of view incorporating archaeometrical techniques. Thus, macroscopical observations via binocular microscope and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) were used together with the traditional archaeological study. The results have been contemplated from a social and economic aspect, allowing extrapolate the reason of his production: uses, aim, and cost of production; and finally, the impact that these new productions could suppose.
