[cat] El present article s'ocupa de les transformacions territorials d'Osona i consta de tres parts. A la primera es resumeix el procés històric de formació dels assentaments humans osonencs. La segona part està dedicada a analitzar els canvis territorials del segle xx, a partir de l'evolució socioeconòmica i demogràfica. I a l'apartat final es valora la situació actual de la comarca en aspectes com el pes d'Osona en el context català, la seva dinàmica socioeconòmica, la cohesió i equilibri intern, l'impacte de la mobilitat i el seu efecte en els nous processos de difusió territorial.
[eng] This article deals with the territorial transformations that Osona has undergone. It is divided into three parts: the first summarises the historical process of the formation of human settlements in Osona; the second explores the territorial changes of the 20th century based on an analysis of socio-economic developments; the final section assesses the current situation in the comarca in terms of aspects such as the influence Osona exercises within Catalonia as a whole, the rhythm of socio-economic change, the cohesion and internal equilibrium of the comarca, the impact of mobility and its effect on the newly emerging processes of territorial transformation.
