[spa] El presente trabajo plantea un análisis sobre la única obra conservada de sor Constanza de Castilla, el Libro de devociones y oficios o Devocionario. En concreto, se comentará cómo se ve proyectada en la obra la relación madre-hijo que une estrechamente a la Virgen María con Jesucristo durante el episodio de la Pasión y su relación con la nueva espiritualidad cristocéntrica que se desarrolla durante la baja Edad Media, y que se centra en el examen de uno mismo a través del análisis de la vida de Cristo y su sufrimiento en la cruz.
[eng] This research paper proposes an analysis about sor Constanza de Castilla’s single preserved work, the Libro de devociones y oficios or Devocionario. Specifically, it comments on how the mother-son relationship that closely unites the Virgin Mary with Jesus Christ during the episode of the Passion is projected in the work and its relationship with the new christocentric spirituality that developed during the late Middle Ages, which focuses on the examination of oneself through the analysis of the life of Christ and his suffering on the cross.
