[cat] L'esport per a persones amb discapacitat intel·lectual o esport adaptat arriba l'any 1971 a Catalunya com a element clau pel desenvolupament de l’esport dins l’àmbit de les discapacitats. Des de llavors s’ha anat arrelant al territori, formant clubs, associacions i federacions. Actualment, l’esport per a persones amb discapacitat, es troba en una nova etapa de desenvolupament. La qual requereix noves apostes de millora de la qualitat dels serveis esportius a través de nous perfils professionals especialitzats. Un d’aquests perfils pot ser el de l’Educació Social. Per això, aquesta investigació ens ajudarà a identificar l’encaix que pot tenir l’educació social dins l’àmbit esportiu per a persones amb discapacitat intel·lectual. A través de les opinions dels esportistes, els tècnics, familiars i el personal directiu de les entitats, descobrim com ha de ser aquesta nova vinculació entre esport i món social, la qual ens ajudarà a obrir investigacions per millorar el món de l’esport per a persones amb discapacitat intel·lectual.
[eng] Sport for people with intellectual disabilities or adapted sport came to Catalonia in 1971 as a key element for the development of sport in the field of disabilities. Since then, it has been rooted in the territory, forming clubs, associations and federations. Currently, sport for people with disabilities is in a new stage of development. This requires new commitments to improve the quality of sports services through new specialized professional profiles. One of these profiles can be that of Social Education. Therefore, this research will help us to identify the fit that social education can have in the sports field for people with intellectual disabilities. Through the opinions of athletes, technicians, family members and the management staff of the entities, we discover what this new link between sport and the social world should be like, which will help us to open research to improve the world of sport for people with intellectual disabilities.
