Abstract

[en] This paper aims to approach the ordered statistics and the theory of extreme values. In the part of the ordered statistics, the basic notions of distribution and density functions, both marginal and joint, are introduced. But above all, focusing on the distributions of the maximum and minimum values. The second part is totally dedicated to the theory of extreme values, in which the most important results are explained to get to have a general idea on this subject.
