[eng]This Final Degree Project focuses on the artistic and literary magazine Quatre Gats, a weekly publication issued throughout 1899, of which fifteen surviving issues are preserved. These are distinguished by their exceptional cover designs and by literary contributions of considerable interest. The project originated in the renowned establishment of the same name, Els Quatre Gats, and benefited from the collaboration of some of the most prominent figures in the Catalan artistic and cultural scene, which gave it particular significance in the development and dissemination of modernism. This academic study traces the principal bibliographical contributions in chronological order with the aim of reconstructing the historiographical evolution of the subject. In addition, the final section offers several reflections and interpretations by way of conclusion. Ultimately, the purpose of this study is to reaffirm the importance of the magazine and to assess its actual impact within the cultural and social context of the period.
