Abstract
El propósito de este artículo consiste en estudiar sistemáticamente la presencia de Benito Pérez Galdós en el semanario Destino, durante su época barcelonesa (1939-1968). A partir de dicho cotejo, se abordará el tratamiento del novelista canario en artículos críticos de novelistas como Ignasi Agustí, o de críticos literarios como Rafael Vázquez Zamora, Antonio Vilanova o Sergio Beser. Los diversos casos expuestos probarán que Pérez Galdós se convirtió en una usual estrategia de legitimación literaria durante la posguerra española. This article's aim is to study systematically the presence of Benito Pérez Galdós through the pages of the weekly magazine Destino, published in Barcelona (1939-1968). From this comparison, we will analyze how the Canarian writer was represented in critical articles written by novelists as Ignasi Agustí, or literary critics as Rafael Vázquez Zamora, Antonio Vilanova or Sergio Beser. The many cases exposed will prove that Pérez Galdós became an usual strategy of literary legitimacy during the Spanish Postwar.
