Pensar calaixos, traduir contorns

Abstract

[cat] Aquest Treball de Final de Grau explora la relació entre el temps, la memòria i els objectes a través de la figura del calaix, entès com a contenidor físic i conceptual. La recerca sorgeix d’experiències personals i familiars —especialment de la figura del meu avi— i es desenvolupa mitjançant una pràctica de dibuix que actua com a espai d’arxiu emocional i d’observació íntima. Des d’un enfocament metafòric, el projecte qüestiona la percepció dominant del temps com a línia recta i productiva, i proposa altres ritmes: la lentitud, la pausa i la repetició. En aquest context, l’obra final és una animació realitzada amb pintura a l’oli sobre acetat. No ofereix una representació literal, sinó que tradueix reflexions en imatges que apareixen, es transformen i desapareixen. El procés mateix assumeix l’efímer, l’error i el no conclòs com a qualitats centrals. Aquesta peça no pretén tancar res, sinó obrir un espai des d’on continuar pensant. En última instància, és una reflexió sobre com recordem, com guardem i com deixem anar, i sobre com la pràctica artística pot esdevenir un contenidor viu de memòria.

[eng] This Final Degree Project explores the relationship between time, memory, and objects through the figure of the drawer, understood as both a physical and conceptual container. The research stems from personal and family xperiences—particularly the influence of my grandfather—and develops through a drawing practice that functions as a space of emotional archiving and intimate observation. Through a metaphorical approach, the project questions the dominant linear and productive perception of time, proposing alternative rhythms such as slowness, pause, and rep etition. In this context, the final artwork is an animation made with oil paint on acetate. Rather than offering a literal representation, it translates reflections into images that emerge, dissolve, and transform. The process itself embraces the ephemeral, the imperfect, and the unresolved as central qualities. This work does not aim to reach definitive conclusions but to open a space from which to continue thinking. Ultimately, it is a reflection on how we remember, preserve, and let go—and on how artistic practice can serve as a living container for memory.
