dc.description.abstract[en] The present project aims to pose the study of two non-euclidean geometries: hyperbolic geometry and taxicab geometry, whose metric is defined by the $l_{p}$ norm when $p = 1$. This study will follow a metric approach, examining the sets of lines, points, angles and distance functions that define the geometries. The purpose of this project is to create solid knowledge to then create a didactic proposal, bringing some of the found results to a classroom of catalan Baccalaureate students. The activities presented will aim to oppose the student’s geometric intuition with formal definitions of geometric objects.ca
