Abstract
This educational content aims to raise awareness about gender-based disinformation, stereotypes and narratives that reinforce gender inequalities in the media and online space. It also aims to encourage the development of critical thinking and source-checking skills, and to promote information literacy as a tool for resilience against disinformation. It can be used as an introductory information for librarians and professors, and as a starting point in information and media literacy classes for students.
